Support on the journey to health
- Have you recently been diagnosed with cancer? Are you still reeling with shock or stuck in denial, feeling terrified, alone, uncertain and overwhelmed, with endless questions racing through your head?
- Are you well into your treatment regime and experiencing an array of other challenges?
- Have you just completed the lengthy treatment regime, grappling with the challenges of readjusting to ‘normal’ family life and the return to work?
- Has the cancer returned for another bite of the cherry, and are you struggling to remain positive?
Ease the way
Whatever path to recovery you choose, your journey is unique and you will need support along the way. The Conscious Care Circle is a team of complementary therapists who collaborate with the bio-medical model, loving supporting those on a cancer journey as well as those with life-threatening diseases. We are holistic in outlook, and believe that the body and psyche has the intelligence and desire to heal itself. We believe that the focus on allopathic medicine leaves gaps in the emotional and spiritual aspect of healing. However, healing requires a partnership, the willingness of the individual to take responsibility for his/her health, and the discipline to do the necessary “work” with the body and/or psyche.
“Recovering from cancer is far more than a physical journey. It touches on every aspect of life – emotional, mental, spiritual.”
– Gail Williams, founder member, Conscious Care Circle
