Project Description

Hypnosis has proven to be extremely valuable in the treatment of cancer patients.

Clinical hypnosis has been defined as a mind-body therapy that involves a deeply relaxed state, individualized mental imagery, and therapeutic suggestion. Hypnotherapy has proved to be extremely effective for the management of chronic pain, as well as reducing postsurgical side effects such as anxiety, pain, and fatigue. It has also been reported to reduce chemotherapy-related nausea.

Studies have also shown that hypnotherapy boosts the immune system and improves the individual quality of life and life expectancy.
